Victor Osimhen Rejects Al-Hilal’s €75M Offer, Eyes Permanent Galatasaray Move

Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has firmly rejected a €75 million offer from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, insisting on continuing his career with Galatasaray, where he thrived on loan during the 2024-25 season.

Despite Napoli receiving two bids matching their €75 million valuation for the 26-year-old striker from Al-Hilal and Galatasaray – Osimhen remains steadfast in his preference for the Turkish champions, dismissing repeated attempts by Napoli to sway him toward the Saudi option.

Galatasaray’s latest proposal includes €40 million upfront and €35 million in two further instalments, while Al-Hilal offered to split the fee into two payments.

Negotiations are stalled due to Napoli’s insistence on specific payment structures and bank guarantees, with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis holding firm on financial terms.

Additionally, Napoli are pushing for an “anti-Italy” clause to prevent Osimhen from joining another Serie A club before the 2028/29 season, a condition aimed at safeguarding their domestic interests.

Osimhen’s stellar performance at Galatasaray, where he scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 matches, has fueled his desire to stay in Istanbul and compete in the UEFA Champions League. The ongoing transfer saga, marked by disputes over payment terms, continues to unfold, with Galatasaray working to meet Napoli’s demands while Osimhen rebuffs Al-Hilal’s lucrative advances.
