Popular Businessman ‘FishMagnett’ Killed by Kidnappers, VeryDarkMan Cries Out Over Insecurity
A man popularly known as FishMagnett, due to his unique business style, has been confirmed dead following an encounter with kidnappers. The news was brought to light on July 31, 2025, by popular activist VeryDarkMan, who raised the alarm in a video posted online.
In the video, VeryDarkMan criticized the government for its lack of seriousness toward the growing insecurity in the country. In tears, he said, “This man was kidnapped and killed. What was his offense? I will always speak about the government. If they won’t give citizens anything else, at least give them security.”
He expressed deep concern over the deteriorating state of security, emphasizing that it is unacceptable for citizens to live in fear. He also called out the Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma C. Soludo, noting that the governor’s child is currently not in Nigeria. According to him, sending one’s child abroad implies a preference for the safety and sanity of another country over one’s own.
While addressing the rising wave of kidnapping and killings in Anambra State, VeryDarkMan made it clear that the situation is worsening and has become a serious concern that demands urgent attention.
