Emmanuella Defends Carter Efe’s Bold Skit Style Against Critics
Emmanuella, girlfriend of Nigerian skit maker Carter Efe, has publicly supported his unconventional comedy style during a recent livestream, responding to critics who called his extreme stunts embarrassing.
She expressed pride in his work, revealing her active role in his creative process.
“I know most of you see him [Carter Efe] online doing stuff and you feel like maybe he’s disgracing me. To be honest, before he does it, I’m aware. So, how can I be embarrassed or ashamed of who I already know?” Emmanuella said. She added: “I’m actually the one who advises him to do crazy stunts. He’s not embarrassing me. I’m even the one who encourages him to do those stunts. So, I’m never ashamed of my man.”
Addressing broader concerns, Emmanuella advised women to support their partners’ professions despite public opinion, stating: “Don’t ever be ashamed of whatever your man is doing.” Her remarks come amid debates over Carter Efe’s loud, energetic, and often outrageous skits, which have sparked mixed reactions online.
