Sunday Oliseh Urges Victor Osimhen to Join Premier League or Risk Lifelong Regret
Former Super Eagles captain, Sunday Oliseh, has advised Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to make a quick move to the English Premier League, warning that any further delay could lead to lasting regret.
Sunday Oliseh, who won Olympic gold with Nigeria in 1996, took to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday to share his thoughts on Osimhen’s uncertain transfer situation.
“Victor Osimhen is at a very delicate crossroad.
He needs to find his way to the Premier League in a hurry or he risks so much regret! Man. United and Arsenal need this player if only…..”
His comment comes at a time when Osimhen’s highly anticipated transfer to a Premier League club appears to be losing momentum, despite the striker’s impressive record and a reduced release clause. Napoli have reportedly lowered their asking price for the 26-year-old to €75 million, yet no English club has made a serious offer.
Manchester United long linked with the Nigerian forward are said to be focusing instead on Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo. Arsenal, meanwhile, have cooled their interest due to shifting transfer priorities.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio recently reported that Turkish club Galatasaray have emerged as leading contenders to sign Victor Osimhen. They have already submitted a formal offer and reportedly agreed on personal terms with the player. However, Napoli are holding out for full payment of the €75m clause in a single installment.

Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal have also shown interest and are reportedly willing to meet the financial demands. But sources suggest Victor Osimhen prefers to remain in Europe.
Football insider Fabrizio Romano revealed via YouTube that Manchester United were never truly in pole position for Victor Osimhen, due to his high wage expectations and growing satisfaction with life in Istanbul, where he previously enjoyed a loan spell.
As the transfer window progresses, fans and pundits alike continue to monitor Osimhen’s next move. But for Sunday Oliseh, the message is simple, it’s now or never for the Premier League dream.
