Enjoy up to 70% off your fave brands this weekend via eVouchers on the ALAT app  – no be crime say we no get first class.” The message, leveraging the singer’s nickname and his viral campaign, aimed to promote discounts on the ALAT app but drew the artist’s ire for using his name and initiative without permission.

Adekunle Gold’s Response

Reacting on X, Adekunle Gold tagged Wema Bank and ALAT, questioning the unauthorized use of his brand, writing, “Dear @wemabank @alat_ng when this one start? You’ll be hearing from my people.” His response, hinting at potential legal action, has fueled online discussions, with fans praising his move to protect his intellectual property.
