VDM, King Mitchy Saga Sparks Outrage as Peller Reacts With Warning Message
The online drama involving Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), and influencer King Mitchy has continued to stir strong reactions on social media.
After reports surfaced online claiming that King Mitchy had died, VDM shocked many Nigerians by posting a photo suggesting that he was also dead. His action, which many people described as insensitive, triggered mixed reactions across social platforms.
As the issue gained attention, popular streamer and content creator Peller weighed in through his Instagram story. In his post, Peller warned against using social media live streams to promote or joke about dangerous acts.
In a strongly worded message written in Pidgin English, Peller cautioned people who intentionally harm themselves or take substances during live streams just for attention. He stressed that social media platforms should not be used for life-threatening content and warned that such behaviour could have serious consequences.
His post was widely shared, with many Nigerians supporting his stance and calling for more responsibility among influencers and content creators.
The situation has once again raised concerns about clout-chasing, online feuds, and the mental and physical risks some people take in the name of social media attention.
As of now, there is still no independent confirmation regarding the reported death of King Mitchy, while calls for caution, empathy, and accountability continue to grow online.
