A woman has stirred widespread reactions online after advising ladies to stop pretending when men invite them to “chill,” urging women to clearly state their expectations instead.
In a video currently circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the lady encouraged women to be honest and direct whenever a man asks them to come over or spend private time together.
According to her, such invitations are often not as innocent as they sound, and women should stop acting unaware of what they usually imply.
“As a lady, put a price tag on your body. If a man asks you to come chill with him or come be with him, don’t act ignorant or oblivious to the fact that that man is asking you to come sleep with him,” she said in the video.
She went on to advise women not to feel shy or embarrassed about asking clear questions regarding what they stand to gain from such encounters.
“Don’t be ashamed to ask him, ‘So what am I going to benefit from coming to chill with you? What is the benefit? What are you offering?’ And if he says he doesn’t understand, tell him clearly what you want,” she added.
The lady also dismissed fears of being judged or labelled negatively, noting that women often face criticism regardless of the choices they make.
Her comments have since generated mixed reactions online. While some social media users praised her for being bold and realistic, others criticised the advice, arguing that it promotes transactional relationships rather than genuine emotional connections.
One user wrote, “She just said what many people are afraid to say out loud.” Another disagreed, saying, “This sounds like turning relationships into business transactions.”
