Big Brother Naija Season 10 Premieres July 26 With ₦150 Million Grand Prize
The countdown has officially begun! Big Brother Naija Season 10 will kick off with a double launch weekend on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, 2025 and this year’s winner will walk away with a jaw-dropping ₦150 million, the biggest prize in the show’s history.
The show will run for 10 thrilling weeks, building up to a grand finale on Sunday, October 5. Once again, the iconic Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returns as host, ready to serve drama, fashion, and unforgettable moments from the Big Brother house.
Speaking at a media briefing, Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of General Entertainment at MultiChoice, called this season “a celebration of legacy” and promised fans a truly special experience. The official theme is still being kept secret for now it’ll be revealed on premiere night.
This year’s auditions, held in May, saw thousands of hopefuls sign up online and attend physical screenings in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu, all competing for a spot in the house.
Over the years, BBNaija has brought us 197 housemates, over ₦637 million in prize money, and a total of 709 days of non-stop entertainment. Last season, titled No Loose Guard, introduced a duo format and ended with Kellyrae becoming the first married housemate to win the show.
Tejumola described the show’s impact beyond television:
“BBNaija has become more than just a television show; it is a living, breathing cultural force. It has given voice to a new generation of talent, creatives, entertainers, and the influencer community, and it has refined what homegrown entertainment can achieve when it is done at scale with intention and ambition.”
The show will air live at 7 PM WAT on Africa Magic Showcase, Family, and Showmax, with 24/7 streaming on DStv Channel 198, GOtv Channel 49, and Showmax.
